About

Hi! My name is Devan Singh, and I received my bachelors in mechanical engineering from Northeastern University. I was drawn to engineering by my late grandfather's love of cars. Ever since, I have had a passion for all things mechanical, from automobiles to airplanes. When I got to college, I joined Northeastern's Electric Racing Club where I helped designed a race car with a team of engineers. Also while at Northeastern, I dove back into my longstanding interests in chemistry with some advanced organic classes. I currently work remotely continuing on my reasearch in the DMAS lab. Since then, I have held two co-ops at hardware startups in flow chemistry and additive manufacturing, respectively. When I’m not working you can find me in the gym where I learned my second passion: Health, lifting, and fitness. These hobbies got me interested in the contributions that mechanical engineers can make in the biomedical space, while my chemistry coursework endowed me with a fascination of building molecules - a skill that finds many applications in medicinal chemistry. I'm looking forward to bringing my unique background to innovate for up and coming companies and bridge the gap between diverse industrial fields.
